GGoogle“The highest-quality sushi I've had in Miami. The Salmon Aburi is the best $6 you'll spend in the Design District. Quick service, fresh fish - incredible value for money.”

★Yelp“Even when comparing to places that cost 3-5x more, this has the highest quality, best Omakase in Miami. I’ve been 10x here and tried Omakase in many places in Miami and NY and nowhere compares for the price.”

GGoogle“One of my favorite spots. Truly amazing food decent price and great service. Jaffa is located as soon as you walk into the food court inside the food court area at design district. Kosher and amazingly delicious.”

★Yelp“Chef Daniele’s taste and culinary skills were well demonstrated in the pepperoni pizza and cavatelli ragu my wife and I had on our visit to the MIA Market Miami, Florida. The flavors were really well balanced. His service was excellent. Will dine again.”

GGoogle“The best place for sushi in Miami, the quality is beyond and the deliveries are daily. I can't praise these guys enough and how well they execute service. The slices of fish are cut so well and presented in fantastic ways. I will always keep continuing to support this place. Make sure to check them out at Mia Market”

★Yelp“Great sushi for the $ money. $70 gets you 10 pieces and a hand roll of premium quality sushi. My only issue with this place is they cut the fish in the morning so if you go later on in the day say around 6 pm the fish might be a little dry. That wasn't the case with my food however. I went at 12 noon and it tasted great! will I be back ? Maybe!”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
★Yelp“The best sushi that exists in South Florida. But take note, once you eat this no other sushi in all of Miami will ever taste as good. I almost always get the salmon 5 piece, ototo charcoal and two wagyu miso hand rolls. But as you can imagine, everything is going to be amazing. Also, it's located inside of the food hall in palm court. Very easily accessible.”

★Yelp“I stopped at Jaffa because we were looking for a Middle Eastern place to grab a quick lunch. We had the chicken platter, which we shared and the chicken shawarma plate. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The hummus was very very good too. The food came quickly and the service was very friendly. The restaurant was clean. An overall very nice experience for a fresh, fast lunch. I would come back to Jaffa anytime.”

★Yelp“Today my friend and i got to try this hidden gem located in the Mia Market and it was a 10/10. We were pleasantly greeted by Giovanni at the counter. He provided exceptional service and was very kind and patient with us as it was our first time here. He recommended us to go a la carte. Every single piece was high quality and extremely delicious i kept coming back for more! Giovanni was super attentive to us and made our experience here outstanding. I highly highly recommend!”

★Yelp“Located in the MIA market in the design district, Sushi Yasu is a surprisingly excellent place for sushi. The sushi is traditional style, fresh and tastes excellent. They have a few set menus but you can also order a la carte. We had the omakase and every piece was great. Service is excellent, but it's worth noting that you order from a counter, fond place to sit and then your meal is brought to you. Don't let that fool you into thinking this is mediocre sushi, it's on par with some of the best sushi you can get outside of Japan.”

★Yelp“After walking the whole MIA market twice since it was my first time there, I decided Jaffa had to be it because of my wife's veganism and my love for Israeli and Middle Eastern food as a whole. Having been to Israel three times, most recently end of 2019, and having grown up with great spots in Puerto Rico and Boston, my experience with fresh hummus has led to a high standard and boy did they deliver. The meat kebabs and hummus were very well seasoned and filling. Cannot wait to go back and will likely call on them to cater an event in the future.”

★Yelp“Highly recommend Jaffa Restaurant!! We visited the Atlantic Village in Hallandale within 2-weeks of opening this new location. Five+ stars for cleanliness, ambiance, décor and service!! They also have the ideal menu; offering both unique/fusion dishes and authentic Middle Eastern favorites. Due to the size of our party, we decided to go mezze/tapas/family-style and ordered lots of different menu items. I can honestly say that everyone was impressed at how authentic and delicious everything was. Being that my hubby is Middle Eastern, I can vouch for it's authenticity. As for me, I will be returning very soon and ordering the Turmeric Cauliflower with Zaatar Tahini all to myself!”

★Yelp“One of the best values I've seen for sushi in a while! Yes, the location is a little weird. However, if this is the trade off between a $59 10 piece omakase + hand roll vs this being a $140 meal, I would eat this in a parking lot. The quality is definitely top notch, and the chef here takes what he does seriously. It's a little hard to find - you have to walk up the escalator towards MIA Market, and it's in the back of MIA market. You pay at the counter, you get a number, and then you sit down nearby. There are two nicer booths that were empty when we got there, but there are also regular tables and high tops. They bring out the 10 pieces at once, so pace yourself lol. I thought this was an amazing value considering I got a tuna trio in there, a scallop nigiri, etc. hand roll was toro also! I would definitely return when I'm craving sushi and not trying to come out of my meal broke.”

★Yelp“This Israeli restaurant is located inside the Mia Food Hall at the Design district. I recommend that you park inside one of the garages for better rates than street parking (which is becoming quite difficult to find) I loved what I ordered here which was the Sabich platter. The eggplant was incredible and everything was so full of flavour, from the spicy sauces to the hummus. One complaint that I had was the pricing, it feels elevated. Great pita bread here. Please keep in mind that this is a stand, so you will be going up to the counter to pick it up, yes there are tables to sit at, but not dedicated just to that restaurant. I made a trip from Doral and wasn't disappointed and you shouldn't be either.”

★Yelp“I thought I was in Tokyo, but it was Miami and the experience was as good as the best I have had in Japan. The ramen soup was the best I have had in the USA. The omakase was a world-class experience. Now the backstory. I was looking for a Japanese restaurant in Miami for our one-night stay. Four menus in a row had cream cheese in every roll. I prayed, there must be an authentic Japanese restaurant and I found this one. Nothing against cream cheese if I am searching for a good bagel. I was looking for the best sushi in Miami. I think this is it. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.”

GGoogle“I can see why this is recommended by the MICHELIN Guide. Sushi Yasu Tanaka is located in MIA Market in Miami's Design District. They were not very busy when I went for an early light lunch on a Sunday. I had the chopped hamachi and negi sauce hand roll, one piece of the salmon nigiri and one piece of the akami sashimi. Food was served very quickly after I ordered. I could not fault it. I have been to Japan and this was top-quality sushi. Freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend.”

GGoogle“Holy. Crap. Omg. AMAZING. I'm already drooling thinking about the tuna selection. Now be warned this place is located inside of a "food hall" inside of the Miami's Design District and is quite the pretty penny. $$$$. However, the flavors, freshness, and technique that Chef Yasu brings to the table defines my expectations of some of the best food I have tasted in this lifetime. I tried the 8-piece nigiri platter as well as a hamachi hand roll and will definitely be back to have more. Just WOW.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
★Yelp“very very impressed- i've had omakase before, and this by far was the one to exceed my expectations despite the more humble looking setting and more affordable omakase. every piece of fish was incredibly fresh and fragrant - and guess what, was fairly affordable. if you are looking to eat a great tasting omakase for not too much and without the showmanship that typically is associated w/omakase, then this is certainly the place to go to.”

◉TripAdvisor“This is my favorite go to sushi in Miami. If you're looking for the freshest quality seafood - yasu Tanaka is the place you have to go. I recommend doing the $71 omakase special. You get an appetizer, 10 piece nigiri spread and a hand roll. I sometimes like to add on an uni nigiri or swap out the hand roll for a dessert that is freshly made by the chefs wife.”

★Yelp“My mother ordered the ceviche and unfortunately didn't feel quite sure about the freshness of it... The young ladies behind the counter very kindly took care of the situation and gave us some of the best guacamole we've ever had to make up for it! We greatly appreciated how they handled it and will certainly be returning for it!”

GGoogle“Unassuming restaurant serving delicious fresh sushi in a food court. Pricey, and the atmosphere is not ideal, as it is a food court, but quality matches. I'd go again and again.”
