“Today my friend and i got to try this hidden gem located in the Mia Market and it was a 10/10. We were pleasantly greeted by Giovanni at the counter. He provided exceptional service and was very kind and patient with us as it was our first time here. He recommended us to go a la carte. “The food hall where Miami Nice is located doesn't have cheap eats at all, but for Miami Nice's $5 dogs. This is a spectacular deal, and the fries are served with a tasty dipping sauce. We adored the woman working the counter, as she was helpful and personable. She gave us two straws when knowing we were splitting our beverage. I think this hotdog deal could easily be put on any Miami cheap eats list. The fries and beverage were an okay price. The $6 lemonade was kind of on the high end, but it was so delicious.”

“I've frequented Jaffa several times at the St. Roch Market. In my numerous visits, I've never been disappointed. The hummus is fantastic. Thick but creamy texture, dusted with spices and when paired with their crisp cumin-seasoned Falafel, Israeli salad and tahini, a perfect lunch or dinner. Roast cauliflower is beautifully plated and quite exceptionally tasty, slathered with yogurt. Deconstructed babaganoush with roast chickpeas is both a delicious and healthy snack. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Portions are quite large - bring a dining companion!”

“How amazing it is to find a delicious option inside a food hall. This sushi counter spot inside Miami's Mia Market delivers high-quality food in an informal space, with outstanding service. They have a small menu, full of fresh and quality fish, some appetizers, and Omakase (10 pieces and one hand roll). They follow the idea of keeping it simple but delicious, the staff is very nice and always helping and explaining each piece of menu items. One of my favorite bites is the Uni & Ikura hand roll, the way that the fresh Uni melts with popping Ikura makes this hand roll a piece of heaven. If you are a sushi lover this will be your favorite spot in Miami.”

“This restaurant is likely Miami's best kept secret. It's a culinary gem that's hides in plain sight. Located within the MIA Market, Tanaka Sensei works his sushi wizardry alongside a skeleton crew. I started with their omakase (chef's tasting) menu, and I'm telling you that if you like sushi even a little bit, you simply must come and try it. At $59 it's the best dining bargain in Miami, with 10 pieces of sushi plus a hand roll to finish. Oh, and they get everything right: the rice, the ginger, the service are all impeccable and enhance the experience. The venue itself is modest, being one of a number of kiosks surrounding the large dining area, making a sort of high-end food court. You order at the kiosk, then get a stanchion with a number on it and bring it back to your table. Service is polite and prompt. You can get tea or water from SYT, or alcohol from some of the other kiosks. My meal was perfect, but I was so amazed I had to try more. I followed up the omakase with the salmon special, which is 7 pieces each done differently but expertly. It costs $35 and is just as sublime as the omakase menu. I will certainly return as often as I can before this place moves to a new venue more fitting to its class.”

“THAT GUAC THOUGH. I know its expensive but it is so worth it! I have usually been a "I want to leave full" kind of girl and I will agree the portions are small, but they pack such a flavor punch that I cant resist raving on my experience. Hot Lime is one of the many counters in St. Roch Market. (That place as a whole is pretty awesome and you should check out their reviews.) At first I ordered 2 tacos, the cochinito and the chicken. Then I saw the guac and, although it was a bit pricey, I couldn't resist. Im so glad I splurged for that, and so was the rest of my table because it was gone in about 30 seconds. So good. The tacos were amazing too. Also, as others have mentioned, they make the food to order so it is incredibly fresh. They were also really fast! I had my food and ate it by the time my friend got her sandwich from the spot next to Hot Lime. She had to take hers to go because we were in a rush and all of us who ordered from Hot Lime were finished! So.. fresh and fast. Overall, really happy with the taste, atmosphere and experience!”

“One of my friends recommended here. To enjoy really good sushi, I need my Japanese friend!! So, we stopped by here today to enjoy Omakase. It came with 10 pieces of nigiri and one hand roll. All sushi were so fresh and tasty! We felt like we were in Japan! It's hard to get authentic sushi in Miami but this place has it. It's hidden inside the MIA market food hall. Even your friend or a company won't east raw fish, there are plenty other options. The service was a bit slow since it was a busy day. But this food hall is beautiful and while you are waiting, you could look around other places or grab a drink at the bar.”

“Located in the MIA market in the design district, Sushi Yasu is a surprisingly excellent place for sushi. The sushi is traditional style, fresh and tastes excellent. They have a few set menus but you can also order a la carte. We had the omakase and every piece was great. Service is excellent, but it's worth noting that you order from a counter, fond place to sit and then your meal is brought to you. Don't let that fool you into thinking this is mediocre sushi, it's on par with some of the best sushi you can get outside of Japan.”

“I'm originally from Israel , living in the states for a while now, finally found a place by a great spice chef, getting the flavors and taste of home cooking, from cauliflower to hummus, tehini, amba and many things i miss, i'm not religious but the meat is "kosher glat" as far as i saw on the menu. we enjoyed ourselves very much. and the dessert was just amazing. more then anything we expected. as i said, in the food market full of many types of options, that is a hidden pearl a must visit.”
