“Today my friend and i got to try this hidden gem located in the Mia Market and it was a 10/10. We were pleasantly greeted by Giovanni at the counter. He provided exceptional service and was very kind and patient with us as it was our first time here. He recommended us to go a la carte. “One of the best values I've seen for sushi in a while! Yes, the location is a little weird. However, if this is the trade off between a $59 10 piece omakase + hand roll vs this being a $140 meal, I would eat this in a parking lot. The quality is definitely top notch, and the chef here takes what he does seriously. It's a little hard to find - you have to walk up the escalator towards MIA Market, and it's in the back of MIA market. You pay at the counter, you get a number, and then you sit down nearby. There are two nicer booths that were empty when we got there, but there are also regular tables and high tops. They bring out the 10 pieces at once, so pace yourself lol. I thought this was an amazing value considering I got a tuna trio in there, a scallop nigiri, etc. hand roll was toro also! I would definitely return when I'm craving sushi and not trying to come out of my meal broke.”

“It may look like your average Mediterranean cuisine, but Jaffa is anything but! It's located in the beautiful Miami Design District, inside of the St.Roch Market. I wandered in with a friend on a Friday evening and saw the collections of vendors and restaurant stalls that the market had to offer. However, Jaffa immediately called my attention not only because we were greeted by the friendly staff, but the incredible aroma of roasted cauliflower, falafel, and the spices just reminded of comfort food from back home. The restaurant was filling up quickly with a line of the customer but the staff still managed to assist every guest with a friendly welcoming attitude and deliver our food in manageable time. I ordered the falafel rice bowl (probably one of the BEST falafels in Miami!!) and my friend ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl (the spices in the chicken could be smelled from afar). In addition, we shared a whole Roasted turmeric Cauliflower (which is a MUST try dish if you're stopping by) it comes with zaatar spiced tahini and their warm, delicious, fluffy pita bread. The Roasted turmeric cauliflower is such a great option for anyone, especially if you're vegan. Not only is beyond delicious but is such a healthy and satisfying dish (I could eat a whole head by myself!). When our bowls arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The falafels were nice and crispy, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The spiced turmeric rice and tabouleh were packed with flavor, and the tahini had a great consistency and very smooth texture. My friend fell in love with their chicken shawarma. The chicken was packed with wonderful spices creating such a flavorful dish. Everything in their food was filled with wonderful taste and great presentation. By the end of the meal, we were already planning our next visit with a couple of more friends. With so many chef-centric food halls that the St.Roch Market has to offer, Jaffa is truly one of my favorite spots! This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night or any day you feel like taking a break from your busy life!”

“THAT GUAC THOUGH. I know its expensive but it is so worth it! I have usually been a "I want to leave full" kind of girl and I will agree the portions are small, but they pack such a flavor punch that I cant resist raving on my experience. Hot Lime is one of the many counters in St. Roch Market. (That place as a whole is pretty awesome and you should check out their reviews.) At first I ordered 2 tacos, the cochinito and the chicken. Then I saw the guac and, although it was a bit pricey, I couldn't resist. Im so glad I splurged for that, and so was the rest of my table because it was gone in about 30 seconds. So good. The tacos were amazing too. Also, as others have mentioned, they make the food to order so it is incredibly fresh. They were also really fast! I had my food and ate it by the time my friend got her sandwich from the spot next to Hot Lime. She had to take hers to go because we were in a rush and all of us who ordered from Hot Lime were finished! So.. fresh and fast. Overall, really happy with the taste, atmosphere and experience!”

“The food hall where Miami Nice is located doesn't have cheap eats at all, but for Miami Nice's $5 dogs. This is a spectacular deal, and the fries are served with a tasty dipping sauce. We adored the woman working the counter, as she was helpful and personable. She gave us two straws when knowing we were splitting our beverage. I think this hotdog deal could easily be put on any Miami cheap eats list. The fries and beverage were an okay price. The $6 lemonade was kind of on the high end, but it was so delicious.”

“This place is awesome and serves legit Japanese food! The sushi was so fresh, it reminded me of the sushi place I've been to in Japan. I do wish they offered free hot Matcha like they do in Japan. Either way, their food was awesome and service was quick at the time we went. I was only able to take 📸 of the Matcha Ube dessert, but the sushi was so phenomenal we couldn't resist but to just dig in as soon as it was served! Kampai to more legit Asian restaurants in Miami!”
