“$3 Tacos on Tuesday! Beautiful presentation and quick to serve. I tried the Vegan (mushroom), chipotle chicken and shrimp. My only complaint would be that the vegan mushroom filling needed a touch of salt. Nothing that would deter me from ordering again as it is a quick fix. Ingredients are extremely fresh. Lovely customer service as well.”

“A DELICIOUS and affordable omakase at $59. Randomly in a food court, but who cares when that grilled otoro could bring me to tears? Plus the servers were so friendly and attentive that you couldn't get better service in a five-star restaurant. Everything was tasty, but favorites were the fatty tuna, the scallop, the truffle yellowtail, and the smoky salmon. Go here yesterday and send me some in the mail.”

“Holy. Crap. Omg. AMAZING. I'm already drooling thinking about the tuna selection. Now be warned this place is located inside of a "food hall" inside of the Miami's Design District and is quite the pretty penny. $$$$. However, the flavors, freshness, and technique that Chef Yasu brings to the table defines my expectations of some of the best food I have tasted in this lifetime. I tried the 8-piece nigiri platter as well as a hamachi hand roll and will definitely be back to have more. Just WOW.”

“You want great quality sushi on a budget? This is $45 omakase with 10 nigiris and 1 handroll. The handroll also was to die for. Overall the quality is comparable to fancier restaurants like omakai. Everything was fresh and tasty, each bite was unique! “So happy I finally got to try this spot, it's been said before but it really is a hidden gem. By the end of the meal I was laughing at the tourists that were circling the market and unassumingly walking past as they were completely missing out. For the omakase - the quality to price ratio is insane. Every bite was melt in your mouth delicious. Each piece had a unique flavor, and it was arranged so that you could have that omakase journey like any other place. While I would have been satisfied after the 10-pc selection, I didn't want the experience to end (and was having a treat myself day) so per their recommendation I got the hamachi appetizer and spicy scallop handroll. Unsurprisingly, absolutely delicious. I'd recommend any sushi fan coming here, or bringing a first timer here that isn't willing to splurge on a more expensive omakase. It's also great for a treat yourself occasion on your own or with a friend - you can buy some sake to drink with your meal from The Bar across from their section. It's certainly a casual ambience being in the market with other vendors, but it's still the design district, so it maintains that upscale element. I went early so I got to chat with the staff a little who were so nice and helpful. I imagine it gets a bit busier as the day goes on, seems like a fun happy hour spot. I would definitely go out of my way to come to the design district strictly for this meal again.”

“I am absolutely addicted to Jaffa! It's in Mia Market, so I love that I can order a tower of incredible food and carry it over to the bar 10 feet away for a drink. If you aren't eating in the Design District, their takeout travels well (at least the falafel platter, can't speak to the rest yet). I've had Jafffa 5+ times now and it's always consistent and satisfying, no matter who is working the "restaurant" and what dish I order. I can confidently go here and know that my money wasn't wasted on a mediocre meal. It's not cheap, but the quality and quantity justify the cost, in my opinion. Despite the quick service, this food always tastes incredibly fresh. This place is great with friends, coworkers, by yourself, etc. and a superb option for lunches when you need something quick. I'd like to think there is something for everyone here, but in case there isn't, you have all of Mia Market to find stuff for each person in the group. :)”

“A MUST for sushi (good sushi). This is a gem within the design district. Second floor within an eatery. The sushi chef is from sushi azabu (NYC). Enough said (a Michelin star rated sushi favorite) This cannot last long the price point is a steal. Venue (3/5) inside of MIA market. A bit confusing to find but perfect place to grab a bunch of bites from different places. Back to the sushi... this place is casual and all about the food. Go here for the sushi (it can't last at this price point). Not fancy at all and the crowd is of all sorts. If you like quiet and fancy.... Not here. Food (5/5) fresh, fantastic, GO! Omakase was amazing! Service (5/5) knowledgeable and kind service.”

“Dinner tonight waz fire.com. i tried their aji amarillo ceviche, cilantro ceviche and a variety of tacos. The food here is rediculously fresh for a food court. Nothing is made until you order it. Their ceviche is so amazing. A combination of fish, octopus, shrimp in A) yellow pepper sauce B) cilantro sauce topped with red onion, homony and cancha (crunchy peruvian corn). They are $16 and so worth it. The tacos on tuesday are $3 and so delightful. I highly suggest this killer joint.”

The young ladies behind the counter very kindly took care of the situation and gave us some of the best guacamole we've ever had to make up for it!
